New Line Cinema has released the official trailer for The Conjuring: Last Rites, the fourth and final chapter of the Conjuring series. The film reunites paranormal investigators Ed and Lorraine Warren, portrayed by Patrick Wilson and Vera Farmiga.
Directed by Michael Chaves, who previously helmed The Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do It (2021), Last Rites revisits an early case from the Warrens’ career. Set in 1986, the film aims to bring the central storyline to a close while leaving the door open for future stories.
Since the release of the original in 2013, The Conjuring has spawned a successful cinematic universe, including the Annabelle and The Nun spinoff series, as well as The Curse of La Llorona (2019), all of which occupy the same universe.
Producers James Wan and Peter Safran return to oversee this final chapter, which also features Mia Tomlinson, Ben Hardy, Rebecca Calder, and Shannon Kook in key roles.
